おだまき
photo:2181866840今日の写真をオダマキの花にしたんですが、私の中では「おだまき蒸し」が先に有りまして花のオダマキは30歳を超えてから知りました。
昔は「おだまき」って言ってたんですが、最近知れべて見ると「おだまき蒸し」と書かれてました。もともと大阪の船場の食べ物で簡単に言うと「うどん入り茶碗蒸し」でして、このおだまき蒸しが子供の頃は大好きでした。
大好きなおだまき蒸しなんですが、母が年に一度作ってくれるかくれないかの貴重な料理でしたから余計に美味しく思ったんでしょうかね。田舎育ちの大ざっぱな母が作ってくれるおだまき蒸しですから、どんぶり鉢にうどんを入れての茶碗蒸しが小さな私にはビックリするほどの御馳走でした。
その「おだまき蒸し」も 何十年も食べた事がありません。昔はうどん屋さんで出していたんですが、今では何処の料理屋さんに行ってもメニューにも載っていません。寂しい限りです。
＊おだまきとは苧環と書きます。麻を紡いで丸く巻いた物を言います。うどんの玉が苧環に似ているところから「おだまき蒸し」になりました。
